Fading Out Of Myself

o-CHILD-ABUSE-facebook.jpgI suspected it.

I never knew that I lived with such scars,

Until today’s shadow grew to leave marks.

The pain you inflicted,

Has never gone away.

It haunts my dreams,

It took away my innocence,

And cuts like a knife.

Hiding the real me that everybody seemed to hate,

Since then I began to fade.

I never was born to fit in,

But I kept it all in.

No more do I belong,

No more do I search.

Whether to be accepted by society,

Or try finding a place where I belong.
